Easter Weekend

Well, we had a lovely Easter weekend, because our friends Reenie & Ed and their kids came to visit us. The weather did not cooperate, but we didn't let it hold us back. We decided to drive up to Boston on Saturday and take a tour of Fenway Park. No, we are NOT becoming Red Sox fans, it just seemed like a fun thing to do. Fenway is the oldest baseball park in America - built in 1934 - and it is the 3rd smallest. We got to go up and sit in the press box, and we walked all around the park, including atop the Green Monster. Our tour guide was a very animated old guy named Steve, who cracked a lot of bad jokes, but was a lot of fun.

Thank goodness Sunday was a nicer day. The Easter bunny brought treats for the kids (and some Cadbury creme eggs for me) - and yes, I made a pot roast earlier in the week for Passover, lest you think we forgot something. We're equal-opportunity atheists. We went out to brunch at one of our favorite restaurants, Rue de L'Espoir, and then took the kids to a playground. We figured that they needed to run around since they had a long drive home ahead of them. It was a beautiful sunny day, but still cold. You can see photos of the weekend here.

I am looking forward to going to Vegas for the Arbonne National Training Celebration later this week. I am hoping that it will be nice and warm there!!
