Sorry, it has been over two months since my last post! But they have been good, busy months! Jess and I had a wonderful time with my Arbonne team (and 8,500 other Arbonne consultants) in Vegas in March; the weather was beautiful, the company was terrific, and the products are amazing! Since we've been back, my Arbonne business has really picked up momentum. It is amazing to me how many people are interested in botanically-based skincare and cosmetic products that really work. In this economy, to be in an industry that is actually growing instead of stagnating is very exciting.
When I haven't been living, sleeping, and breathing Arbonne, I've been very busy with fundraising activities for the two nonprofits I'm involved with, the Jewish Community Day School of RI and the Wheeler School. It's a tough time to be soliciting donations, as you all can imagine.
We had a joint-birthday party in April for Lew and one of his friends, at a laser tag place in Attleboro, MA, which worked out really well for everyone. It is hard to believe that our younger child is actually starting high school in the fall, and that Jess will be in her second year of law school. It's even harder for me to believe that I have friends who are just now having babies and starting this process! I don't feel old at all - despite the fact that my 20-year college reunion is coming up at the end of this month. In fact, I like being the age I am now; I feel like I'm smarter, I have a better outlook on the world than I've ever had before, and I'm in a happy place. So, on that note, if you haven't voted for me on MORE magazine's website, please take a minute to do so. I know you have to register, but you can opt not to receive email from them. And tell your friends - I think I'm going to need several more votes to make the top 100!
Thanks - think Spring (and I don't mean that crappy, cool, rainy New England spring, I mean the sunny, warm one!).
